UsesEndo-β-N-acetylglucosaminidase (Endo A) is an Endo-β-N-acetylglucosaminidases (ENGases) from Arthrobacter protophormiae. Endo-β-N-acetylglucosaminidase (Endo A) can transfer a high-mannose type oligosaccharide to monosaccharides such as N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) and glucose to form a new oligosaccharide. Endo-β-N-acetylglucosaminidase (Endo A) catalyzes glycopeptide synthesis by using Man3GlcNAc-oxazoline[1].
General DescriptionEndoglycosidase H or endo-β-N-acetylglucosaminidase His an glycohydrolase. It is produced by Streptomyces plicatus and other Streptomyces species.
Biochem/physiol ActionsEndoglycosidase H is involved in cleaving the N-linked glycans present between the twoN-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) residues in the core of the glycan chain in high-mannose sugars.
