| Synthesis | Step 3. Ammonia (g) was passed into a solution of THF (180 mL) containing methyl 4-fluoro-2-methyl-5-nitrobenzoate (30 g, 140.74 mmol) and the reaction was carried out for 5 hours at room temperature. Upon completion of the reaction, the reaction was quenched with water (500 mL).
