DescriptionAminoindans (AI) were originally studied as semi-rigid congeners of phenylethylamines, which are psychoactive alkaloids. 2-AI is an aminoindane that serves as the starting point for the synthesis of psychoactive compounds, such as 5,6-methylenedioxy-2-aminoindane. 2-AI itself has modest analgesic and stimulatory properties. This product is intended for forensic applications.
