| Description | 1-Palmitoyl-2-12-OAHSA-3-oleoyl-sn-glycerol is a triacylglycerol that contains palmitic acid (Item No. 10006627), the fatty acid ester of hydroxy fatty acids (FAHFA) 12-OASHA (Item No. 17108), and oleic acid (Item Nos. 90260 | 24659) at the sn-1, sn-2, and sn-3 positions, respectively. It is an endogenous triacylglycerol that has been found in the lipid extract of mouse adipose tissue.1 FAHFA-containing triacylglycerol levels are greater than 100-fold higher than non-esterified FAHFAs in mouse adipose tissues, indicating that triacylglycerols act as intracellular storage reservoirs for FAHFAs.WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use. | | References | [1] DAN TAN.
