| | FHPI HCL Usage And Synthesis |
| Uses | The water soluble form of SB 202190, a highly selective, potent inhibitor of p38 MAP kinase. SB-202190 is able to promote proliferation of C6 cells in lower concentration but induced apoptosis in higher levels. Studies show that SB202190 can protect neural function from ischemia/reperfusion injury and regulate the activation of Bcl-2 and Bax protein after ischemia/reperfusion in rat. | | General Description | A water-soluble form of the potent p38 MAP kinase inhibitor SB 202190 (Cat. No. 559388). | | Biochem/physiol Actions | SB 202190 monohydrochloride hydrate mediates the phosphorylation of serine in the mutant p53 protein and modulates cell adhesion and prevents cell proliferation in breast cancer cell lines. |
