| Uses | 12-NBD Stearate has been used in the fluorescent labeling of omega-3 fatty acid in biomaterial films and as a ligand for fatty acid binding protein 5 (FABP5) in competitive binding based high throughput fluorescence displacement assay. It may be used a ligand fluorescence displacement assay of fatty-acid binding protein 5 (FABP5). | | Biological Activity | 12-NBD Stearate incorporated in lipid droplets and is used majorly in fluorescence displacement binding studies of fatty-acid binding proteins.
