Upon completion of the reaction, water (100 mL) was added to dilute the reaction mixture, which was subsequently extracted twice with dichloromethane (CH2Cl2, 2 x 50 mL). The organic phases were combined, dried with anhydrous sodium sulfate, filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure to afford the target product N,N-dimethyl-4-nitrobenzylamine. | | References | [1] Medicinal Chemistry, 2016, vol. 12, # 5, p. 489 - 498 [2] European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, 2014, vol. 86, p. 257 - 269 [3] Archiv der Pharmazie, 2014, vol. 347, # 12, p. 936 - 949 [4] Patent: WO2006/123145, 2006, A1.
