| Synthesis | The general procedure for the synthesis of N-(piperidin-4-yl)pyrimidin-2-amine from the compound (CAS:76167-42-5) was as follows: first, 22-N-piperidin-4-ylpyrimidin-2-amine was prepared. 10% palladium hydroxide (200 mg) was added to the solution formed by dissolving the product of preparation 20 (3 g, 11 mmol) in ethanol (300 mL). Subsequently, the reaction mixture was subjected to a stirring reaction at 60°C under a 60 psi hydrogen atmosphere for 2 hours. Upon completion of the reaction, the mixture was cooled to room temperature and filtered through Arbocel and the filter cake was washed with ethanol. Finally, the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure to obtain the target product N-(piperidin-4-yl)pyrimidin-2-amine in quantitative yield of 2 g. | | References | [1] Patent: WO2005/105779, 2005, A1.
