| Synthesis | To a 25 mL Schlenk tube fitted with a magnetic stirrer were sequentially added nitroolefins (0.2 mmol), sodium azide (0.3 mmol), N,N-dimethylformamide (2 mL) and Amberlyst-15 (30 mg). After sealing the reaction tube, the reaction was stirred at 50°C under air atmosphere for 1-3 hours. The progress of the reaction was monitored by thin layer chromatography (TLC), and when the reaction was complete, the reaction mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate (3 x 10 mL). The organic phases were combined, dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate and filtered, and concentrated under reduced pressure to remove the solvent.
