Poloxamer is soluble in water or ethanol, soluble in anhydrous ethanol, ethyl acetate, chloroform, almost insoluble in ether or petroleum ether, with some foaming.The pH of 2.5% aqueous solution is between 5.0 and 7.5, and the pH for injectable use is between 6.0 and 7.0.The aqueous solution is more stable in air, and the exposure to light decreases the pH value. It is stable to acid and alkali solutions and metal ions. |
