Azurin p28 peptide induces apoptosis or cell cycle arrest. Azurin p28 peptide inhibits p53-positive tumor growths. Azurin p28 peptide shows antiangiogenic effect by inhibiting phosphorylation of VEGFR-2, FAK and Akt[1][2][3].
