| | LHRH, His(5)-Trp(7)-Tyr(8)- Usage And Synthesis |
| Uses | LH-RH II (chicken) is one of the two forms of luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) the hypothalamus of the domestic hen, which are structural variants of mammalian LHRH. LH-RH II (chicken) enhances gonadotrophin release in the domestic chicken[1][2]. | | in vivo | LH-RH II (chicken) (10-10-10-8 mg/kg; i.v.; single dose) stimulates increases in the plasma concentrations of luteinizing hormone (LH), which are initiated within 1 min of injection in out-of-lay (OL) and incubating (I) hens but from 5 to 20 min postinjection in laying (L) hens[2].
