| Synthesis | General procedure for the synthesis of (R)-3-(methoxymethyl)morpholine using compound (CAS: 1445591-33-2) as starting material: a mixture of BB13-b (400 mg, 1.51 mmol) with 10% Pd/C (20% w/w, 80 mg) in methanol (20 mL) was reacted by stirring for 24 h at room temperature under nitrogen atmosphere. Upon completion of the reaction, the reaction mixture was filtered to remove the catalyst, the filtrate was concentrated, and the resulting residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (eluent: dichloromethane/methanol) to give the final target product (R)-3-(methoxymethyl)morpholine (160 mg, 81% yield).
