ANTI-CDK2 Usage And Synthesis

Uses	Anti-CDK2 antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 1 μg/ml. For immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded tissue sections, a concentration of 4-8 μg/ml is suitable.
Biological Activity	Cyclin-dependent kinase 2 has a unique role in suppressing cell senescence and apoptosis induced by Myc. It is redundant for cell cycle progression but is activated following Myc overexpression to prevent Myc-induced senescence-like arrest. CDK2 functions in association with cyclin E and regulates meiosis at prophase I.
