| Description | 2'-Deoxy-2'-fluorocytidine is a nucleoside analog. It has antiviral effects and can synergize with T705 to effectively inhibit Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus (CCHFV) replication. 2'-Deoxy-2'-fluorocytidine can also inhibit dihydrofolate reductase, thereby preventing the production of tetrahydrofolate, which is required for the synthesis of purines and pyrimidines. It has a certain inhibitory effect on poliovirus, herpes simplex virus, vesicular stomatitis virus and influenza A virus. | | Chemical Properties | White Solid | | Uses | 2'-Deoxy-2'-fluorocytidine is a potent inhibitor of the subgenomic hepatitis C virus replicon in Huh-7 cells. 2'-Deoxy-2'-fluorocytidine has been shown to inhibit Borna Disease virus replication and s
pread. | | in vitro |
2'-Deoxy-2'-fluorocytidine has antiviral activities, showing 50% effective concentrations (EC50) of 61 nM and 31 nM against CCHFV and CCHFV/ZsG in Huh7 cells, respectively. And it shows a 50% cytotoxicity concentration (CC50) of >50.0 μM in Huh7 cells.
