| Uses | Isopropylamine Hydrochloride is an intermediate in the synthesis of 1-Cyano-3-isopropylguanidine (C955800). | | Synthesis | GENERAL PROCEDURE: Ammonium chloride (0.54 g, 10 mmol) and ethanol (3 mL) were added to a 25 mL round-bottom flask, followed by isopropylamine (10 mmol). The reaction mixture was placed on a magnetic stirrer and heated to reflux for 2 hours.
