Uses | Trimethylsilyl chlorosulfonate may be used:
- in the sulfonation of small organic molecules
- in the synthesis of sulfonated polysulfone
- as sulfonating agent in the preparation of nano-structured organic-inorganic membranes for proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC) based on methacrylate and epoxy polymeric structures
- in the preparation of sulfonated polysulfone (sPS)/titanium dioxide (TiO2) composite membranes for use in PEMFCs
- in the preparation of iodosobenzene sulfate, required for the synthesis of cyclic sulfates
