Induction of vomiting is usually not necessary due to spontaneous vomiting. Activated charcoal: administer charcoal as a slurry (240 ml water/30 g charcoal). Usual dose: 25 to 100 g in adults/adolescents. Bethanechol - for substantial ingestions of bethanechol, consider gastric lavage preceded by endotracheal intubation. Other agents - carbachol, acetylcholine, and pilocarpine are liquids, rapidly absorbed and probably not removed significantly by gastric emptying procedures. Atropine sulfate is the drug of choice. For significant muscarinic symptoms administer: adults - 2 to 4 mg iv, repeated every 3 to 60 minutes as needed to control symptoms, then prn for 24 to 48 hours. Child - 0.04 To 0.08 Mg/kg iv (up to 4 mg) repeated every 5 to 60 minutes as necessary. Epinephrine - may assist in overcoming severe cardiovascular or bronchoconstrictor responses (dose: 0.1 To 1.0 Mg sc). | 【Inhalation】
If symptoms develop, move individual away from exposure and into fresh air. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. Keep person warm and quiet; seek immediate medical attention. | 【Skin】
Remove contaminated clothing and wash exposed area thoroughly with soap and water. A physician should examine the area if irritation or pain persists. | 【Eyes】
