Ammonium Bifluoride is a rhombohedral or flaky crystal, widely used for acid treatment in oil fields, for production of mangnesium and the alloy,and etching agent for glass industry,and also can be used for glass frosting or extracting rare elements and used as a preservative or a mordant,etc.
