AMPS is an important monomer. Its copolymers or homopolymers with different molecular weight can be widely used in textile, oil drilling, water treatment, papermaking, dying, coating, cosmetics, electronics, etc. because of its unique formular structure—containing sulfonic acid group and unsaturated radical, thus showing excellent properties in many aspects.
