Outdoor matting agent M-60

M-60 is a kind of weatherability matting agent. It is mainly used for Polyester / TGIC powder coating system and it is suitable for the gloss more than 10%@60°.

The characteristic of M-60 is to offer the good mechanical property,excellent leveling property, smooth coating property and the perfect anti-yellowing property in the power coating.It is not sensitive to the  extrusion process and it is suitable for wide range of polyester resin as well. 

 

1. Technical Parameters

★Appearance: white or light yellow powder

★Bulk density :550-650 g / l

★Solid Content : 99%

 

2. Product application and performance

★Matting agent M-60 can be squeezed directly when pre-mixed with other materials in the process of production  

★The powder paints and coatings made from the M-60 is smooth and never getting yellow

★It is suitable for wide range of polyester resin, It can match the most of the polyester and provide a good matting effect. 

★You can choose to add suitable accelerator / catalyst to improve impact performance, but it may cause the rise of coating surface gloss and the reduce of the leveling performance.

★The powder coatings made of the M-60 has a good storage stability and excellent repeated extrusion performance. 

★Recommended extrusion temperature: I District 95 ℃, II District 110 ℃; recommended curing condition: 200 ℃ * 12min or 190 ℃ * 15min.

★Heavy metal contents in the product conforms to the requirment of EU Rosh standard.

 

3. Recommended usage

The usage of M-60 is 1-4% of the total amount for powder coating formulations,it is suitable for 10%@60 degrees above gloss, The more of the usage, the gloss will be lower. If you need much lower gloss, you can increase the dosage to 5% as appropriate

              Reference formulation

Note:It should be better to use the slow curing polyester, or the fast curing polyester used in conjunction with the slow curing polyester.

4. Precautions for Use

★Avoid directly contact with the skin and inhaled the product. Tacking the relevant protective measures before using, Such as wearing safety clothing, nursing Eyepiece, protective gloves and dust proof equipment.

 

★If it gets into eyes, please rinse with water immediately.If the symptom is not eliminate please seek medical advice.

★Please put the latest MSDS in a conspicuous place, it contains the label, transport, storage, product use, safety and toxicity information etc.

 

5.Package and storage

The product is packed in polyethylene-lined composite kraft bag, the net weight is 25 kgs per bag .

Sealed, please store in a cool and dry place, far away from heat and  fire. Avoid direct sunlight. The reasonable shelf life is at least two years.
