LyP-1 is a cyclic 9-amino acid tumor homing peptide with Cys at the beginning and end of the peptide chain. The two thiol groups form a pair of disulfide bonds, enhancing the stability of the peptide. LyP-1 can selectively bind to overexpressed p32 receptors in various tumor related cells.
