GPLGIAGQ is a MMP2 cleavable peptide composed of 8 amino acids. It is used as a stimulus sensitive linker in liposomes and micelle nanocarriers for MMP2 triggered tumor targeted therapy. GPLGIAGQ can be used to synthesize unique MMP2 targeted photosensitizers in photodynamic therapy (PDT).
