PG931 is an effective and selective melanocortin 4 (MC4) receptor agonist peptide with a sequence of 7 amino acids and a circular structure. The IC50 values of PG931 on human MC4 and MC3 receptors were 0.58 and 55 nM, respectively. The experiment showed that PG931 produced rapid and dose-dependent recovery of cardiovascular and respiratory function in rats with hemorrhagic shock.
