Amino-dPEG12-OH reagent contains a terminal primary amine and a terminal hydroxyl (alcohol) group separated by a single molecular weight dPEG spacer (42.7 Å). The spacers are highly hydrophilic and non-immunogenic. Because each spacer is a discrete, single molecular weight entity, precise spatial control is possible. These products can be used in a variety of applications, including surface modification where the terminal amine is reacted with an activated carboxylic acid and the terminal hydroxyl provides a non-immunogenic, hydrophilic coating over the targeted surface.
Application：
Applicated in medical research, drug-release, nanotechnology and new materials research, cell culture. In the study of ligand, polypeptide synthesis support, a graft polymer compounds, new materials, and polyethylene glycol-modified functional coatings and other aspects of the active compound.
