IL-2分子背景
白细胞介素-2（IL-2）是一种白介素，一种细胞因子免疫系统信号分子，是一种促白细胞激素，在身体对微生物感染的自然反应中起着重要作用，并有助于区分外来（非自身）和自身。IL-2通过与淋巴细胞（负责免疫的细胞）表达的IL-2受体结合来介导其作用。成熟的人IL-2与小鼠和大鼠IL-2的aa序列同源性分别为56%和66%。人和小鼠IL-2具有跨物种活性。IL-2受体由三个亚基组成，它们以不同的预形成复合物存在于细胞表面。IL-2在胸腺T细胞发育过程中也是必要的，用于成熟被称为调节性T细胞（T-reg）的独特T细胞亚群。从胸腺中排出后，T-Regs的功能是防止其他T细胞识别和对抗“自身抗原”，这可能会导致“自身免疫”。T-Regs通过阻止反应细胞产生IL-2来实现这一目的。因此，需要IL-2来区分自我和非自我，这是免疫系统的另一个独特特征。
