淋巴毒素β受体（LTBR）也被称为肿瘤坏死因子受体超家族成员3（TNFRSF3），肿瘤坏死因子III型受体（TNF-RIII），它是一种包含四个TNFR-Cys重复区的单程I型膜蛋白。除了与HCV核心蛋白相互作用外，LTBR不仅可以与自身结合，还可以与TRAF3、TRAF4和TRAF5结合。作为含有LTA和LTB的异三聚体淋巴毒素以及TNFS14/LIGHT的受体，LTBR通过TRAF3和TRAF5促进细胞凋亡。此外，LTBR可能在淋巴器官的发育中发挥作用。
