TIM-4分子背景
T细胞免疫球蛋白粘蛋白（TIM）调节T细胞活化和耐受。清除凋亡细胞的一个重要步骤是识别吞噬细胞上的受体在凋亡细胞上暴露的磷脂酰丝氨酸（PS）。磷脂酰丝氨酸（PS）受体Tim-4通过与暴露在凋亡细胞表面的PS结合，介导凋亡细胞的吞噬作用，从而作为凋亡细胞的PS受体发挥作用。Tim-4直接结合PS并作为凋亡细胞吞噬的束缚受体，在过去十年中得到了广泛的研究。然而，Tim-4在传出细胞作用期间与其他吞噬受体协同作用的分子机制仍然难以捉摸。
