This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 16.8 kDa. The protein migrates as 33-38 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

程序性细胞死亡蛋白1（PD-1）也称为CD279和PDCD1，是一种I型膜蛋白，是T细胞调节因子CD28/CTLA-4扩展家族的成员。PDCD1在活化的T细胞、B细胞、巨噬细胞、髓细胞和胸腺细胞亚群的表面上表达。PD-1有两个配体，PD-L1和PD-L2，它们是B7家族的成员。经IFN-γ治疗后，PD-L1在几乎所有小鼠肿瘤细胞系上表达，包括PA1骨髓瘤、P815肥大细胞瘤和B16黑色素瘤。PD-L2的表达更受限制，并且主要由DC和一些肿瘤系表达。PD1通过抑制PI3K/AKT通路的激活和转导，抑制T细胞增殖和相关细胞因子的产生，包括IL-1、IL-4、IL-10和IFN-γ。此外，PD1的共聚合通过使关键信号转导子去磷酸化来抑制BCR介导的信号。在体外，用PD-L1-Ig处理抗CD3刺激的T细胞导致T细胞增殖和IFN-γ分泌减少。针对PD-1的单克隆抗体正在被开发用于治疗癌症，以增强免疫系统。
