蛋白结构（Molecular Characterization）
This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 64.2 kDa. The protein migrates as 70-80 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景（Background）
钙粘蛋白（Cadherins）是一大类细胞间粘附分子，参与多种细胞类型的细胞间粘附。在神经系统中，钙粘蛋白对发育的所有阶段都至关重要，包括神经管与外胚层的早期分离、神经元和轴突的分离以及突触的形成。这些分子介导使用细胞质结构域中两个高度保守的氨基酸序列设计的钙离子依赖性同型引物。其中一种钙粘蛋白是Cadherin-10。Cadherin-10最初是从人脑中部分克隆的，但其mRNA也被证明存在于小鼠胸腺（称为T2-cadherin）、小鼠睾丸以及小鼠、大鼠和鸡的发育中的大脑和眼睛中。
