Heteropodatoxin-1 is a spider peptide toxin that is a Kv4.2 current inhibitor. It is a three pair disulfide linked cyclic peptide composed of 33 amino acids. Heteropodatoxin-1 also inhibits Nav1.7 and activates Nav1.9, but does not affect Nav1.8.
