Adenoregulin is an antimicrobial peptide antibiotic, consisting of a straight chain peptide of 33 amino acids. Adenoregulin is active against both Gram negative and Gram positive bacteria, yeast, and fungi. Adenoregulin also enhances the binding of agonists to A1 adenosine receptors.
