背景（Background）
CD抗原CD98又称4F2细胞表面抗原重链（4F2hc）、4F2重链抗原、溶质载体家族3成员2（SLC3A2）、淋巴细胞活化抗原4F2大亚基，是一种单程I型膜蛋白，属于SLC3A转运蛋白家族。SLC3A2/CD98在所有受试组织中普遍表达，在肾脏、胎盘和睾丸中检测到最高水平，在胸腺中检测到最低水平。SLC3A2/CD98是轻链氨基酸转运蛋白功能所必需的，也参与苯丙氨酸、酪氨酸、亮氨酸、精氨酸和色氨酸等大中性氨基酸的非钠依赖性、高亲和力转运。CD98参与引导和靶向LAT1和LAT2至质膜。当与SLC7A5或SLC7A8结合时，CD98通过跨膜立体选择性运输L-亚硝基半胱氨酸（L-CNSO）参与小分子量亚硝基硫醇的细胞活性。与ICAM1一起，通过产生和传递细胞内信号来调节极化肠细胞中的LAT2转运活性。
