蛋白结构（Molecular Characterization）
This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 16.9 kDa. The protein migrates as 30-38 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景（Background）
T细胞特异性表面糖蛋白CD28也称为TP44，是一种单程I型膜蛋白，含有一个Ig样V型（免疫球蛋白样）结构域。是T细胞上表达的提供T细胞活化所需的共刺激信号的分子之一。CD28是CD80（B7.1）和CD86（B7.2）的受体。当被Toll样受体配体激活时，CD80在抗原呈递细胞（APCs）中的表达上调。抗原呈递细胞上的CD86表达是组成型的。CD28是唯一在幼稚T细胞上组成型表达的B7受体。
