This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 15.9 kDa. The protein migrates as 23-30 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景(Background)
CTLA-4(细胞毒性T淋巴细胞抗原4)也称为CD152(分化簇152),是一种下调免疫系统的蛋白质受体。CTLA4是免疫球蛋白超家族的成员,在辅助T细胞表面表达,并向T细胞传递抑制信号。该蛋白质包含一个细胞外V结构域、一个跨膜结构域和一个细胞质尾部。编码不同异构体的替代剪接变体。CTLA4与T细胞共刺激蛋白CD28相似,两种分子都与抗原呈递细胞上的CD80和CD86(分别称为B7-1和B7-2)结合。CTLA4向T细胞传递抑制信号,而CD28则传递刺激信号。细胞内CTLA4也存在于调节性T细胞中,可能对其功能很重要。CTLA4和抗体的融合蛋白(CTLA4-Ig)已用于类风湿性关节炎的临床试验。
