背景（Background）
基质金属蛋白酶-2（MMP-2）也称为72 kDa IV型胶原酶、72 kDa明胶酶、明胶酶A和CLG4A，属于肽酶M10A家族。MMP-2/CLG4A含有3个纤维连接蛋白II型结构域和4个血红素样结构域。MMP-2由正常皮肤成纤维细胞产生。MMP-2切割胶原样序列Pro-Gln-Gly-|-Ile-Ala-Gly-Gln。MMP2参与多种功能，如血管重塑、血管生成、组织修复、肿瘤侵袭、炎症和动脉粥样硬化斑块破裂。除了降解细胞外基质蛋白外，还可以作用于几种非基质蛋白，如大内皮1和β型CGRP，促进血管收缩。还可以通过Gly-|-Leu键切割KISS。似乎在心肌细胞死亡途径中起作用。通过调节GSK3β的活性导致心肌氧化应激。体外切割GSK3β。PEX是MMP2的C末端非催化片段，具有抗血管生成和抗肿瘤特性，并抑制细胞迁移和细胞与FGF2和玻连蛋白的粘附。
