[Gly22] - Amyloid β - Protein (1-42) is a modified sequence of β - amyloid peptide, consisting of the first 42 amino acids, with the 22nd amino acid replaced by Gly from Glu. The Arctic mutant of amyloid beta peptide 1-42 (where Glu ² is replaced by Gly) has significantly higher amyloid production ability than the wild-type A β 1-42.
