This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 45.6 kDa. The protein migrates as 53-60 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景（Background）
ProS1是白细胞免疫球蛋白样受体（LIR）家族的成员，该家族存在于染色体区域19q13.4的基因簇中。编码的蛋白质属于LIR受体的B亚家族，其包含两个或四个细胞外免疫球蛋白结构域、一个跨膜结构域和两到四个基于细胞质免疫受体酪氨酸的抑制基序（ITIM）。受体在免疫细胞上表达，与抗原呈递细胞上的MHC I类分子结合，并传递抑制免疫反应刺激的负信号。它被认为可以控制炎症反应和细胞毒性，以帮助集中免疫反应并限制自身反应性。已发现该基因存在编码不同异构体的多种转录变体。
