背景信息

NAPA (NSF Attachment Protein Alpha), also known as α-SNAP, is a critical component of intracellular vesicle trafficking and membrane fusion processes. It belongs to the SNAP family of soluble proteins that interact with the SNARE (Soluble NSF Attachment Protein Receptor) complex, which mediates the fusion of transport vesicles with target membranes. NAPA binds to the SNARE complex and recruits NSF (N-ethylmaleimide-sensitive fusion protein), an ATPase essential for disassembling SNAREs after fusion, thereby recycling them for subsequent rounds of membrane docking.
