The ARHGAP25 antibody is a tool used to detect and study the ARHGAP25 protein, a member of the Rho GTPase-activating protein (RhoGAP) family. ARHGAP25. also known as RhoGAP interacting with CIP4 homolog 2 (RICH2), primarily regulates Rho GTPases, particularly Rac1 and Cdc42. by accelerating their GTP hydrolysis. This activity modulates cytoskeletal dynamics, cell migration, and adhesion, which are critical in immune responses and cancer progression.

ARHGAP25 is highly expressed in immune cells, such as neutrophils, where it influences phagocytosis, chemotaxis, and inflammatory signaling. Studies link its dysregulation to immune disorders, infections, and malignancies. For example, reduced ARHGAP25 expression in acute myeloid leukemia correlates with enhanced cell invasion, while its role in neutrophil function highlights its importance in innate immunity.

The ARHGAP25 antibody is widely used in techniques like Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence to assess protein expression, localization, and interactions in cellular and tissue samples.
