Anti-β-Gal-hIgG4 (S228P) features the constant region of the human IgG4 (S228P) isotype and the variable region of Mouse IgG2a Control.
Mouse IgG2a Control is a mouse IgG2a monoclonal antibody that targets E. coli β-galactosidase (β-Gal).
This antibody was generated by DNA immunization with a plasmid expressing the β-Gal gene in Swiss mice. Anti-β-Gal-hIgG4 (S228P) can be used as an isotype control for human IgG4 (S228P) antibodies.
It contains an engineered hinge region mutation (S228P) designed to prevent exchange of IgG4 molecules.
Anti-β-Gal-hIgG4 (S228P) was generated by recombinant DNA technology. It has been produced in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells and purified by affinity chromatography.

This member of the bleomycin/phleomycin family is a water-soluble, copper-chelated glycopeptide antibiotic, produced by a proprietary strain of Streptomyces verticillus. Zeocin® causes cell death by intercalating into DNA and cleaving it. The action of Zeocin® is effective on most aerobic cells, such as bacteria, eukaryotic microorganisms, plant cells, and animal cells.

Puromycin is a selection antibiotic for mammalian, insect, and bacterial cells, available as a sterile, cell culture-tested solution. Puromycin dihydrochloride is an aminonucleoside antibiotic naturally produced by Streptomyces alboniger as a tyrosyl tRNA analog.
Puromycin specifically inhibits peptidyl transfer on both prokaryotic and eukaryotic ribosomes. This antibiotic is highly active on Gram-positive bacteria and mammalian and insect cells but is weakly active on Gram-negative bacteria.
