描述（Description）
Platelet-Derived Growth Factor Subunit B (PDGFB) belongs to the PDGF/VEGF growth factor family. Platelet-derived growth factor is a potent mitogen for cells of mesenchymal origin. PDGFB can exist either as a homodimer (PDGF-BB) or as a heterodimer with the platelet-derived growth factor alpha polypeptide (PDGF-AB), where the dimers are connected by disulfide bonds. Mutations in this gene are associated with meningioma.Binding of PDGFB to its receptor elicits a variety of cellular responses. In addition, PDGFB is released by platelets upon wounding and plays an important role in stimulating adjacent cells to grow and thereby heals the wound.

制剂（Trait）
Lyophilized after extensive dialysis against PBS, pH 7.4 or 20 mM NaAc-HAc, pH 4.5 or 50 mM Tris-HCL, 200 mM NaCl, 500 mM arginine, pH 8.0.
复溶（Reconstitution）
It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/mL in ddH2O. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% BSA, 5% HSA, 10% FBS or 5% Trehalose).
保存条件&效期（Storage & Stability）
Stored at -20°C for 1 years. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer (with carrier protein). It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage.Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

In general, recombinant proteins are provided as lyophilized powder which are shipped at ambient temperature.
Bulk packages of recombinant proteins are provided as frozen liquid. They are shipped out with blue ice unless customers require otherwise.
生物活性（Bioactivity）
Measured in a cell proliferation assay using NIH3T3 mouse embryonic fibroblast cells. The ED50 for this effect is ≤5 ng/mL.
The bioactivity of Y03401 is equivalent to the other competing product.
