Sulanamadin is an artificially synthesized peptide that can penetrate cell membranes, based on the potent peptidyl macrocycle of p53, and is a staple peptide. Sulanamadin is an inhibitor of protein-protein interactions between p53, MDM2, MDMX, or p53 and MDM2. Sulanamadin can be used in cancer research. Sulanamadin is a defense peptide designed to combat various pathogenic microorganisms by mimicking naturally occurring ones. Compared to traditional antibiotics, Sulanemadlin exhibits a more diverse bactericidal strategy, allowing it to remain highly effective in the face of multidrug-resistant strains.
