Description：α-Conotoxin MI是从海螺 Conus Imperialis 的毒液中分离出来，是由14个氨基酸组成的环状多肽，具有两对交叉的二硫键。芋螺毒素是烟碱型乙酰胆碱受体的配体。α-Conotoxin MI对青蛙的神经肌肉受体具有高度活性，但在小鼠中却没有。
α-Conotoxin MI is a cyclic peptide of 14 amino acids isolated from the venom of the cone snail *Conus imperialis*. It contains two pairs of crossed disulfide bonds. As a conotoxin, it acts as a ligand for nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. α-Conotoxin MI exhibits high activity at neuromuscular receptors in frogs, but shows no activity in mice.
