白细胞介素15（IL15或IL-15）是一种在结构上与IL-2相似的细胞因子。与IL-2类似，IL-15通过结合IL-2/IL-15β链（CD122）和共同γ链（γ-C/CD132）受体传导信号。这种细胞因子由单核吞噬细胞（及其他特定细胞）在病毒感染后分泌，能诱导自然杀伤细胞增殖——自然杀伤细胞作为先天免疫系统的关键效应细胞，其主要功能是清除病毒感染的靶细胞。
IL-15同时调控T细胞与自然杀伤细胞（NK细胞）的活化和增殖，并在缺乏抗原刺激时通过提供生存信号来维持记忆T细胞的存活。该细胞因子还参与NK细胞的发育过程。在啮齿类动物淋巴细胞中，IL-15通过诱导凋亡抑制因子BCL2L1/BCL-x(L)的表达来阻断细胞凋亡。临床前研究模型表明，IL-15能显著增强CD8+ T细胞的抗肿瘤免疫力。美国国立卫生研究院（NIH）已启动一项I期临床试验，旨在评估IL-15对转移性黑色素瘤和肾细胞癌患者的安全性、给药方案及抗肿瘤疗效，目前开始纳入受试者。
