The Automate series of single-phase highly concentrated and soluble liquid dyes are produced by Dow Chemical and widely used for identification coloring of fuel, lubricating oil (grease), hydraulic oil, power steering oil, and brake fluid. It also has a very wide range of uses: it can be used for coloring hydrocarbon solvents, polishing wax, fertilizers, adhesives, leak detection and aerobatics, and smoke used in military exercises.
