白细胞介素-11受体（IL11）。IL6、LIF、OSM、CNTF、IL11和CT1的受体系统可利用IL6ST启动信号传导。IL11/IL11RA/IL6ST复合物可能参与调控成骨祖细胞或其他间充质细胞的增殖和/或分化（可能）。对颅面骨和牙齿的正常发育至关重要，可抑制骨缝过早闭合并调节牙齿数量。可溶性IL11受体（sIL11RA）作为IL11活性的激动剂，其与IL11形成的复合物能结合细胞表面的IL6ST/gp130，并通过"IL11反式信号传导"机制在不表达膜结合型IL11RA的细胞中诱导信号传导。
