白细胞介素2受体（IL-2R）是一种异源三聚体蛋白，可结合并响应细胞因子IL-2。该受体由α、β和γ三条非共价结合的多肽链构成。其中α链与β链参与IL-2的结合，而细胞因子结合后的信号转导则由γ链与β亚基共同完成。在与IL-2结合前，IL-2R的α链即可与β链发生结合。γ链单独对IL-2的亲和力极弱，但当配体与α/β异二聚体结合后，γ链会被招募至复合体中，形成高度稳定的大分子四级配体/受体复合物。
白细胞介素2受体γ亚基（IL2RG）又称细胞因子受体共同γ链、CD抗原CD132、gammaC、p64，属于I型细胞因子受体家族中的第5亚族。该蛋白表达于骨髓未成熟造血细胞表面，其基因缺陷会导致X连锁严重联合免疫缺陷症（表现为T细胞缺乏、B细胞正常、NK细胞缺乏的XSCID）。
