This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 16.9 kDa. The protein migrates as 18-20 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
The protein is designed as a dimer.

The primary amines in the side chains of lysine residues and the N-terminus of the protein are conjugated with biotins using standard chemical labeling method. A standard biotin reagent (13.5 angstroms) is used in this product.

CD3e分子（ε链）亦称CD3E，是一种T细胞表面的单次跨膜I型膜糖蛋白。该蛋白包含1个免疫球蛋白样结构域和1个ITAM结构域。CD3E与CD3-γ、CD3-δ、CD3-ζ链以及T细胞受体α/β和γ/δ异二聚体共同构成T细胞受体-CD3复合物，该复合物在将抗原识别与多种细胞内信号转导通路耦联中发挥关键作用。
编码ε、γ和δ多肽的基因均位于11号染色体的同一基因簇。其中ε多肽对T细胞发育至关重要，CD3E基因缺陷会导致严重免疫缺陷。研究还表明CD3E基因与女性I型糖尿病易感性相关。目前已证实CD3E能与TOP2B、CD3EAP及NCK2等蛋白发生相互作用。
