This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 86.9 kDa. The protein migrates as 95-120 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

钙黏附蛋白17（Cadherin-17），又称肝肠钙黏蛋白（LI钙黏蛋白），属于钙依赖性细胞黏附分子钙黏蛋白家族。体内研究表明，敲除CDH17基因可通过激活caspase-3活性引发胰腺癌细胞凋亡。综上所述，CDH17通过调控肿瘤细胞凋亡信号通路，成为促进胰腺癌生长的关键致癌分子，可作为开发抗胰腺癌疗法的靶点。
